Norsk BreMuseum - Norway
The Climate Exhibition was commissioned by the Norsk BreMuseum to raise awareness of current and pending changes to the environment we live in.
The challenge for Sarner was to convey the message of the impending climate change and put forward ways that we can all help. The exhibition takes the visitor through a journey from the Earth's creation to the year 2100, describing the various evolutionary changes our planet has gone through.
The exhibit culminates with an evocative narration by Sir David Attenborough in a powerful video production in which he concludes, "We still have time to act to make changes that will secure the life of this planet. This is the only home we have".
Since the exhibition was opened by former Vice President of the USA, Walter Mondale, the museum has seen a 40% increase in visitor numbers. The exhibition, which took 9 months to build, was originally produced in just three languages but Sarner was recently commissioned to increase this by an additional six languages.
