Pirates 4D - Thorpe Park (Surrey, UK)
Sarner, in conjunction with Simex iWerks and the Tussauds Group (now known as Merlin Entertainment), provided the technical expertise to develop and install the specialist equipment for Pirates 4D at Thorpe Park.

4D theatres provide a multisensory experience by utilising various effects from 'leg ticklers' to motion seats. The range of effects are selected to enhance the viewers experience and are triggered in synchronisation with the film playback.

A 4D theatre requires little maintenance and can be operated by 1 to 2 personnel, making it a cost effective addition to any park or Family Entertainment Centre.

Sarner is able to provide the full range of services to create successful 4D experiences using either library films or a custom made production.
