MuseumsValhalla Blackpool Pleasure Beach (UK)
Sarner conceived the masterplan design for a new £15 million dark ride attraction at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Named Valhalla this was to become a landmark ride which combines a white knuckle flume with theatrical dynamics of powerful storyline sequences. Special effects included scenic theming, fire and ice, wind and rain, mechanical and lighting

The ride incorporates fire, water, snow, thunder and lightning effects with riders experiencing extremes of temperature from minus 20C to plus 40C.

The water flume recycles more than 100,000 gallons of water a minute which is used to propel up to 2,000 riders per hour. Approximately 35,000 cubic feet of gas an hour is used to provide the flame effects. Valhalla is the worlds largest indoor ride.
