Sarner's Pepper's Ghost featured in New Scientist

In a recent review by New Scientist, one of Sarner's project was used to show the technique of what is popularly known as 'pepper's ghost'. The technique uses a flat projection surface and half silvered mirror to create a virtual image that can me made to float in space.

The technique was effectively used by Sarner at the recently opened 'Over the Hill', ghost train at Adventure Island. Sarner used thin film technology which was specially coated to mimic the effect achieved half silvered glass mirror. Thin film technology has a number of benefits over the of semi silvered glass sheets which are heavy, difficult to install and expensive.

The first and only funicular with an immersive show opens at Oceanpark, Hong Kong.

The journey takes just over 3 minutes and links the Waterfront with the summit which previously was serviced via a cable car.

Sarner were commissioned to theme the funicular and by utilising a host of special techniques, to create an immersive experience for the park's guests.

Sarner PFM (Nigeria) signs MOU with Delta State for development of a Leisure Village

Abuja - Nigeria, Sarner PFM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Delta State for the development of a US$250m leisure project. The self contained leisure complex will contain a water park, cultural centre, amusement rides, hotels and retail. The inward investment by Sarner PFM will provide much needed boost to the leisure market and local economy of the Delta State. In her remarks, the Managing Director of SARNER PFM, Princess Abiodun Oyefusi described the project as unique and the first of its kind in Africa.

Shakespeare - Museum Design

A Makeover for Shakespeare

As part of its ambitious plans for 2009, The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust will be opening a new exhibition and visitor centre at Shakespeare's Birthplace.

Following a competitive pitch, the Trust has appointed UK creative design and AV specialist Sarner to redevelop the visitor centre and give the Bard a modern makeover.

The attraction, entitled Life, Love & Legacy: A New Introduction to William Shakespeare, has now opened to the public, The new exhibition will see visitors journey through five zones in an immersive experience bringing the history of Shakespeare to life.
